1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, registering, or using the S'ovo mobile application ("App") provided by SOVO Secure Labs ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to abide by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. User Accounts & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (email and password/biometrics). Because S'ovo does not use phone numbers, your email address is the sole method of account recovery. You must be at least 13 years old to use S'ovo.

3. User Generated Content (UGC) & Moderation

S'ovo maintains a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users. By using the App, particularly the public "Discover" feed, you agree NOT to post or transmit content that is:

  • Illegal, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or threatening.
  • Explicitly graphic, sexually explicit, or violent.
  • In violation of any third-party intellectual property rights.

Reporting & Blocking: We provide built-in tools to block users and report objectionable content. Our moderation team reviews reports within 24 hours. We reserve the right to remove content and permanently ban users who violate these guidelines without prior notice.

4. Specialized Features Limitations

  • NDA Sessions: S'ovo provides technical infrastructure to facilitate digital agreements and encrypted audit trails. We are not a law firm. We make no representations regarding the legal enforceability of these digital agreements in your specific jurisdiction. Use them at your own risk.
  • Date Safe: This feature is a utility designed to share your location with trusted contacts. It is not a substitute for emergency services (e.g., Police, Paramedics). S'ovo assumes no liability for your physical safety.
  • Screenshot Prevention: While we implement OS-level restrictions to prevent screenshots, we cannot guarantee absolute protection (e.g., a user taking a photo of their screen with another device).

5. Subscriptions & Payments

Following our initial free launch phase, S'ovo may require an annual subscription fee (e.g., R50/year). Payments are processed securely via approved third-party gateways (Apple App Store, Google Play, Ozow, Paystack). Subscriptions are non-refundable except where required by local law.

6. Limitation of Liability

S'ovo is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our services, unauthorized access to your data, or any conduct of third parties within the App.
